Home and Community-Based Early Interventionist

The Community Development Center, a non-profit agency serving people with ID/DD in the Coffee, Bedford and surrounding counties, seeks qualified candidate for the position of Home and Community-Based Early Childhood Educator to join our team serving the Giles and Lincoln County communities. This role focuses on supporting young children and their families through early intervention services in natural environments.

Position Summary:
The Early Interventionist works directly with children from birth to age five who have developmental delays or disabilities. This position emphasizes family coaching, developmental support, and collaboration to help children reach their fullest potential.

ABA Supervising Therapist-BCBA BCaBA

 

The Community Development Center (CDC) is a nonprofit charity organization providing comprehensive programs to over 750 families annually by providing supports and services to children, families and individuals with disabilities while addressing the health and well-being of all persons in the communities in which we serve. The Children's Center for Autism is a program under the Community Development Center.

The Children’s Center for Autism is seeking an ABA Supervising Therapist to oversee a full caseload and staff within the program. The position will be assigned a primary location between Fayetteville or Shelbyville, with some expectation to support other centers as needed. Must be a licensed BCBA, BCaBA. Clear communication, both verbal and written is required. A billable goal of 27 hours per week with 100% of clients in the center. Salary is not based on billable hours.

Registered Behavior Technician

The Children’s Center for Autism, in Bedford County, is seeking applicants for the position of Behavior Technician. The position is part time, with a set schedule of 30 hours per week.

Paid Registered Behavior Technician training provided on-site. $13.50- $15.00/per hour.

High school diploma required, some college preferred, background check and drug testing are required. EO/AA/M/F/Vet/Disability Employer.

I took a behavior modification class in college and learned about applied behavior analysis for the first time. I fell in love with it and knew that was the path I wanted to continue on.

2. What is one thing that you wish people knew about your job?

How rewarding it is getting to see our kiddos grow.

3. What has been one of the most important lesson you’ve learned throughout your career?

I've learned the value in not giving up. It doesn't matter how long it takes you to get there, what matters is that you achieve your goal and didn't quit.
