Independent Support Coordinator
The Community Development Center, a non-profit agency serving people with ID/DD in the Coffee, Bedford and surrounding counties, seeks qualified candidate for the position of Independent Support Coordinator .
The Support Coordinator will provide support coordination with case management to individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities that include the following components:
- · Communication with individual family
- · Support Plan and follow-up
- · Monitoring and evaluation
- · Community inclusion
- · Advocacy
- · Communication with TN DIDD
- · Communication with TennCare
ISCs provide case management services in the TN Strong Families program. This program helps children who have an intellectual or developmental disability(IDD) and are currently in Tennessee state custody by providing flexible funding so families can pay for needed services and supports. ISCs are responsible for making contact with the family monthly and an in person visit every six months.
Bachelor degree in a social field is preferred. Must be computer literate and have excellent communication skills. EOE/Drug Free Workplace/Vet/Disability/E-
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $16.00 - $16.50 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week ( based on candidate)

Early Interventionist
The Child Development Center is seeking applicants for the position of Early Interventionist. The position is full time, with a flexible schedule of 37.5 hours per week.
Seeking Home and Community Based early childhood educators. MUST have degree in Early Childhood Education/Family Studies/Elementary Education or related field. Serving children birth to 4 years of age with developmental delay and disabilities including family coaching. We will be filling positions to service the areas of Franklin, Maury, Lawrence, Lewis and Wayne counties. EOE/Drug Free Workplace/Vet/Disability/
Salary: $18.46 per hr.

Registered Behavior Technician
The Children’s Center for Autism, in Bedford County, is seeking applicants for the position of Behavior Technician. The position is part time, with a set schedule of 30 hours per week.
Paid Registered Behavior Technician training provided on-site. $13.50- $15.00/per hour.
High school diploma required, some college preferred, background check and drug testing are required. EO/AA/M/F/Vet/Disability Employer.

1. What made you choose this particular career?
I took a behavior modification class in college and learned about applied behavior analysis for the first time. I fell in love with it and knew that was the path I wanted to continue on.
2. What is one thing that you wish people knew about your job?
How rewarding it is getting to see our kiddos grow.
3. What has been one of the most important lesson you’ve learned throughout your career?
I've learned the value in not giving up. It doesn't matter how long it takes you to get there, what matters is that you achieve your goal and didn't quit.
